Who is TW Iain?

I’m nobody. I’m just like so may others. I have a family, and a job. I do stuff.

At least, that’s one version of me. The other (the TW Iain side) writes. Nineteen novels and various shorter works over three series so far. Are they any good? People have enjoyed them. I’m constantly improving as a writer, though. Each time I read a great book I learn more. Each time I open my laptop and let my fingers dance over the keys I learn more. And as old and stubborn as I am, some of that learning actually gets through.

So I’m starting a new series. I have big plans for this space opera series. Too big? Maybe — but why aim for something small?

I’m using Substack to document this whole process. Every couple of weeks I’ll post thoughts on how it’s going and what I’m doing.

Writing can be a solitary activity, but feedback is important. I’d love to have you join me on this journey, and I’d appreciate any feedback you have to offer. Praise is great, but constructive criticism is important too.
